I like a boy and I think he has a good sense of humor. His name is Bruce. But the problem is a shy and I don't talk to him alot too, because he lives in New Jersey and I live in Long Island. Also, he is a really good friend of my cousin. So if I should starting talking to him or no. If am talk to him than my cousin will tease at me and my family will know because my family know him. But I don't want my family know it. What should I do? Please! give me some advice.!!!

 Talk cost nothing and when you like someone, you should not be affraid of other people knowing or teasing you. Why should your family be involved since you are just talking to a boy ? I am sensing you are a very young girl so just keep this in mind, if you just talking and nothing else then it should be fine, but any feeling such as love then do not go there.

You are must be young therefore your family concern about your involvement with a boy will ruin your school....etc .... so as long as talking a long distance good friends then you should be fine. About keeping from your family, soon or later they'll know ...I wouldn't suggest this but .... cellular phone and by calling from school is a good way to hide ! Good luck.
